Polina is the senior vice president of clinical pharmacology and translational at Latigo Biotherapeutics, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in clinical pharmacology and early phase clinical development. She joined Latigo from Cytokinetics where she served as the vice president and head of Clinical Pharmacology and built and led the company’s Clinical Pharmacology department, providing strategic and scientific leadership across the full spectrum of the clinical development pipeline.

Before joining Cytokinetics, Polina spent 14 years at Gilead Sciences where she began her career as a clinical pharmacologist and advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately serving as executive director of Clinical Pharmacology, overseeing the Virology therapeutic area.

Polina holds a B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a Pharm.D. from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of California, San Francisco.
