Holly brings more than 20 years of Neuroscience research experience to her role as vice president of Translational Science at Latigo, which bridges preclinical research and early clinical development. She has broad experience leading drug discovery programs from target validation and high-throughput screening phases to lead optimization and IND submissions. In her previous role as head of Biology at Escape Bio, her team successfully developed novel target engagement and mechanistic biomarkers for discovery and clinical stage programs for genetic forms of neurodegeneration. Prior to Escape Bio, she was in the Amgen Neuroscience department where she served as cross-functional project team leader for multiple discovery stage programs. Holly earned a B.S. in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in the Neuroscience Interdepartmental Program at UCLA before completing postdoctoral and senior research fellowships at Caltech.
